Extruded Perimeter Pockets

Gordon’s extruded aluminum perimeter pockets are used for ceiling transitions to perimeter wall and window systems. They can also be used for the concealing blinds, curtains, draperies, and screens; air return or air supply, and perimeter lighting.

Members are all pre-cut to size, pre-finished, and completely fabricated ready to install. Perimeter pockets fit integrally into suspended ceiling systems. Hanging and splicing devices are designed for exact alignment and simple installation.

Shade Pockets

Shade Pockets use of retractable motorized shades to cover window areas at certain times of the day, These shades block UV and heat transmission without blocking your view. Gordon provides perimeter pockets for these shades in several standard sizes as shown plus custom enclosures when required. Gordon shade pockets include removable closures for access the the shade, and provide the structural support as well. Best of all, Gordon perimeter shade pockets are painted to match the exposed suspension adjoining the pocket.

Perimeter Lights

Ceiling Pockets from Gordon can easily be integrated with lighting in hallways, lobbies, and restrooms to name just a few applications. The light source includes fluorescent, neon, incandescent or low voltage. And because the fixture is supported by the Gordon Pocket, the total assembly costs less than a traditional light fixture. You also have your option for the type of lens or louver that best fits your design.
