PURCHASING & LOGISTICS AGENT
The Purchasing Agent purchases goods and services in accordance with the Gordon, Inc. policies and procedures. Acts as the company’s representative in negotiations with suppliers, evaluates bids, evaluates vendors based on price, reliability, capability, and previous transaction history and works with vendors to negotiate volume and transaction discounts, and all other available or potential discounts.
PROJECT MANAGER
The Project Manager oversees all aspects of major projects using planning, monitoring and controlling processes. Responsible for coordination and completion of the project. Performs a variety of tasks including setting deadlines, assigning responsibilities, and monitoring and summarizing progress of the project in report form. This position is responsible for simultaneously managing multiple large projects. Projects typically will be of complex design, of long duration, may require multiple shipments with large and varied type products in the job scope.
WAREHOUSE TECHNICIAN
The Warehouse Technician will perform an array of functions that may include receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, or managing, organizing and retrieving stock in the warehouse.
ASSEMBLER
The Assembler will assemble manufactured products and pack according to specifications.
CARPENTER
The Carpenter will use woodworking skills to build crates for our products
GENERAL LABORER
Production team members will perform all tasks involved in the production of the company’s products. This includes painting, assembling parts, building crates, fabrication of products, and running various machines. The position follows standard work methods and practices safe work habits to ensure production is as efficient and safe as possible.
CNC PUNCH OPERATOR
The CNC Punch Operator will operate CNC Turrets and Press Brakes. The CNC Operator will maintain a neat and orderly work area and fabricate parts to tolerance based on the requirements of the blueprint.
CAD DESIGNER
The CAD Designer will prepare art, die, fabrication and submittal types of drawings.
PROJECT COORDINATOR
The Project Coordinator provides Administrative support for the Product Team. Serves as a Team Member and Customer Service contact for the Product Group(s) managed. Ensures that the Company provides extraordinary service and empathy to our external Customers in a way that will cause them to become totally delighted in their business relationship with Gordon, Inc. Ensures that the Product Team provides total satisfaction with the product delivered to all Internal Customers.
SHIPPING AND RECEIVING CLERK
The Shipping and Receiving Clerk will ship and receive items in the system and when necessary, assist in the Warehouse.
FABRICATOR
The Fabricator will maintain a neat and orderly work area and fabricate parts to tolerance
based on the requirements of the blueprint. When there are any discrepancies with the prints or
the parts the fabricator must notify the team leader.
TEAM LEADER
Manages all Manufacturing functions of the Operations Team, including Manning, Machinery, Methods and Materials. Also, responsible to facilitate a stable operating Environment in the facility. Is responsible for the continual improvement of the overall Safety and Quality performance of their Team. Ensures that customer and job specifications are consistently met. Is responsible for the efficient and productive loading of work centers through the establishment of effective lead times and the achievement of all commitments made to both Internal and External Customers. Continually monitors and establishes loading requirements for their Product Groups in a way that maximizes plant capacity utilization.
